Privacy Policy

A wardrobe is a personal record — what you own, what you spend, what you actually wear. Stylease exists to make sense of that record for you, not to make a product out of it. This page explains exactly what we collect and what we do with it.
1. What we collect
Your email address, and the wardrobe you build: photographs of your clothing, the details attached to each piece (category, colour, brand, material, size, purchase price and date), the outfits you log with their dates and occasions, and the preferences you give us during setup — including sizes, budget, and the measurements you choose to enter. If you use the appearance analysis feature, the photo you provide is analysed for face shape and skin undertone only, and the resulting notes are stored against your profile.
2. How we use it
To operate the app for you: to identify what you photograph, build your wardrobe and style timeline, generate outfit recommendations, purchase verdicts, keep-or-let-go assessments and packing lists, and to send the notifications you have opted into. We also use aggregate, non-identifying usage data to understand which parts of the app work and to fix the parts that do not.
3. AI processing
Recommendations and photo analysis are produced by third-party AI providers, currently Anthropic. The relevant content — a wardrobe photo, or a structured summary of the items and history a request needs — is sent to the provider to generate a response and is not used by them to train their models. We do not send them your email address or account identifiers.
4. What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising. We do not show your wardrobe to other users, and there is no public or social component to Stylease. Your recommendations are not influenced by paid placements.
5. Analytics and notifications
We use privacy-respecting analytics on this website to count visits in aggregate, and error monitoring in the app to capture crashes so we can fix them. Push notifications are off until you turn them on, and can be turned off again in Settings or in your phone's system settings at any time.
6. Security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Wardrobe photos and records are readable only by your own account, enforced at the database level. Access within our team is restricted on a need-to-know basis. If you find a vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly to hello@velorylabs.com.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account from Settings in the app: this removes your items, photos, outfit history, and style profile immediately and permanently, and it cannot be undone. If you can no longer sign in, email hello@velorylabs.com and we will process the deletion within 30 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Deletion is available to you directly in the app; for anything else, contact us at hello@velorylabs.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Stylease is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app develops. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and the date above reflects the most recent update.
